It's been a "happening" year for me in 2008. Firstly, having Junior into the family, Secondly, being hospitialized and Lastly owning a car. Seems like all are "debts" to me. Hopefully now that I repaid these, the better ones are approaching in the new year 2009!
And my New Year Resolutions for 2009 will be:
- Junior grows up well and good
- Family stays happy and blessing
- Everyone stays healthy and well
- Career progression
- stays secretly in love with her
- next property!
To start a Good Year, here's something a dear friend from Japan send me, I truly touched by his kind heart...
and I wished you get what I listed for my New Year Resolutions! Cheers...
I have always wanted to build this metor set but been putting it on hold till now. Finally managed to steal a few hours in the afternoon while wife and junior are sleeping to build it. Have to admit it's a rush job but I'm glad I did it. Slowly I'll make more time, bringing along for my trips so that I CAN finish all the 100 SDs that I have.

Junior has arrived! which causes all my "works" to STOP. A demanding, impatient boy when it comes to his feeding which kept both of us busy and alert through the night. We gave him a down-to-earth name wishing he brings prosperity to all and hope this name will make him humble and take things easy/slowly. I'm not giving him any English name because firstly, isn't a chinese name more meaningful then a English name? Secondly, most newborn these days have English names, so isn't there plently of Dick and Harry, his Chinese name should stand out more. Lastly, I give him the option later in his name how he wants to be acknowledge by other people, but to me, his Chinese name is my blessing to him, he will always carry that in his heart.
Hopefully as he grows, coordination with him and us will get better and things will go smoother. We are noob parents and he's a noob player. We all NOOB, who cares!
P.S.: To view his pictures, please view it in my Facebook.
Here's something which I rushed through in 3 days to meet the arrival of my Junior. This SD is really small and seems to be the "1st" Gundam robot (which I'm unsure) but it's call Perfect Gundam so it's PERFECT! Hopefully Junior turns out perfect as well. Wife suggesting we call Junior "Gundam" !@! Crazy thought. But anywhere, this SD is delicated to Junior.
Wife got me this MG Unicorn Gundam as my birthday present but I have been dragging it too long to complete. Got a friend to get it for me at $40 in Japan and the box was laying there as display. Finally took it with me along during on of the Indian stay and spend 2 full days just cutting and fitting every pieces. Heard from one of the MG modellers that this was one of the "most" pieces Gundam he ever built. I was lucky then to try my hands on it. Anywhere, I didn't do much to it since it's meant to be white. I was suppose to spray paint it as well as doing more shading on the darker colors but decided to give it a miss. Decalling it took me another full day, lucky I also bought the water decal and it looks great with it then it's lousy square stickers that came with the box. A light top coat and there's the finished product. IF one day I get into airbrushing, then prehaps I wash away the topcoat and redo everything... I..F..
Another impressive work by Jay Chou.. enjoy..
